Why do we visit an oven builder in Italy during our H2Roadtrip?
Because with our H2Roadtrip we also visit companies who are part of the proces of making the H2storage hydrogen tanks.
Next to Lucca in the town of Cappanori we visited Italmatic Group on a very hot summer day. Italmatic Group produces autoclaves for clients all over the world. Next to the autoclaves they develop and produce special conveyer ovens, for curing of composites products and that was the subject we discussed most during our pleasant visit. We explained the process and tact times of the production of our H2storage type 4 High pressure tanks and how to optimize the curing process.
After a very nice Italian lunch we enjoyed a complete company tour which impressed us very much. The fact that Italmatic Group combines their experience in mechanical, electrical and thermodynamic engineering into products looks very promising for the equipment we will need at H2storage in the future. We are looking forward to the next steps for future cooperation.
