Last week the full electric Ford F-150 Lightning was delivered for our H2Roadtrip by BosV8Supercars,
The coming period we will prepair the truck for our European zero emission roadtrip from Oslo to Istanbul in 100 days, which we will start from the end of April.
Next to a full wrap we will modify the Pickup truck so that the batteries from the FORD F0150 BEV can be charged from our tiny house trailer. This tiny house trailer is equipped with two H2storage high pressure hydrogen tanks and a hydrogen generator and a Type 2 charger.

The goal from the H2Roadtrip is to show that transportation on hydrogen throughout Europe is possible by today and we will proof it!

The idea of the H2Roadtrip arose during a brainstorm session how to introduce the lightweight type 4 composite hydrogen tanks from H2storage. H2storage is in the final stage of the certification of its hydrogen tanks and we would like the world to know that they are ready for the future now!

The interior of the tiny house is completely built by me and my wife Els Molengraaf-Blokzijl. I am one of the founders of H2storage and am working in automotive for more than 30 years before I started H2storage with 4 partners. Els is a professional event organizer (Els4Organising). Together we will make the H2roadtrip of more than 12.000 km. In every country we will organize a Hydrogen experience event with a local partner working in the supply chain of the hydrogen industry.

The Ford F-150 Lightning has been choosen by us due to the fact that it is battery electric driven and has a towing capacity of 3.500 KG and the tiny house with the Hydrogen tanks and generator has a weight of 2.900 kg. The tiny house is built on a Vlemmix Trailers chassis by @JHworks (Jeffrey Houten)

On the 22th of April the H2roadtrip will start with a Kick-off event at KWR Water Research Institute in Nieuwegein in The Netherlands.
