€ 35,- per kg hydrogen is killing for the hydrogen transition. This is what is asked when we arrived at the Hynion H2 filling station in Gothenburg, where we had a meeting with Hydrogen Sweden.
While waiting for our meeting at het station, an employee of PowerCell Group, which is located next to the H2 filling station in Gothenburg, was curious when he saw us with our combination. He invited us spontaneous for a cup of coffee and a chat about hydrogen at PowerCell Group’s Head office.
PowerCell Group is a Swedish manufacturer of fuel cells stacks and systems. We discussed about our H2Roadtrip and the potential of the use of Hydrogen in Sweden, especially in heavy duty transport and marine applications. We see a lot of similarities between PowerCell Group and H2storage, we both are not supplying components, but integrated solutions to the market for the Energy Transition.
After the coffee it was time for our planned interview with Eva Corell from Hydrogen Sweden, which is representing 120 Swedish companies which are involved in the Hydrogen industry. The article can be read at https://lnkd.in/eC3TeXh6
We had a very nice meeting and time flew by and we could have discussed for hours but we needed to make place for the next car who wanted to fill at the station.
We found out it was a team of the Fuel Cell engineers from Volvo Group who wanted to experience a Hydrogen car and wanted to fill it up at the station for the first time. I was luckily there to help them with my experience in filling Hydrogen all over Europe.
Some other employee’s from PowerCell Group came also out of their office to the parking lot, to see our combination. So our interview with Hydrogen Sweden ended in a spontaneous standup meeting with all Hydrogen professionals with different back grounds.
