Ten years ago Andre was part of the transition of GINAF from diesel to electric trucks as COO of GINAF (2012-2017). It is impressive to see that GINAF is still doing a lot of different conversions in electric trucks today.
Visiting their factory we could see numbers of different applications, like waste collecting truck, sweeper truck, tractor units and tippers on different brands.
Due to their modular way of building their battery electric trucks, it is a logical next step to build battery electric trucks with hydrogen as well.
Especially in heavy duty truck applications and long whole transport hydrogen is the only way to go forward.
Ginaf is finalizing their first hydrogen tractor unit and in the coming year concrete mixers and tippers will be retrofitted to hydrogen fuelcell electric trucks.
