Idrogeno – L’energia del futuro!
This is what the region Abruzzo thinks about hydrogen.
ARAP Abruzzo, the local development company of Abruzzo province organized the H2Roadtrip event together with Comec Innovative SRL & AUMATECH S.R.L.. On a hot Friday morning in July ARAP Abruzzo invited local politicians and the industry for the H2roadtrip event. The speakers from the local governments and companies presented today’s status and the plans toward 2030 in Abruzzo. Andre was given the opportunity to present Hydrogen in general, the products and philosophy of H2storage and our experience of our European H2Roadtrip so far.
During this well-organized event we have learned that the Abruzzo province has all ingredients to become a successful player in the European hydrogen supply chain. With enough space for Solar and windfarms for electricity production and enough water from the mountains, this region has the possibility to produce and export Hydrogen all over Europe. Logistic wise the region is connected with Highway, Railway and Harbor at the Adriatic Sea.
AUMATECH S.R.L. and Comec Innovative SRL presented the local industry and concluded that all production equipment for serial production of Hydrogen tanks can be ordered in Abruzzo, as a hind for H2storage, this message was well understood by us!
The first realization of Hydrogen production has already started, Infinite Green Energy has already started the project for the production of 12.000 KG hydrogen a day from the middle of 2025, a local filling station is already planned. For now there is no H2 filling station in the area but Nippon Gases Italia offered us to fill at their local distribution center, thanks for this.
We enjoyed the event very much and we were happy to learn that hydrogen will play an important role in the future for and from Abruzzo region.
