To prove that it was possible to drive more than 15.000 km throughout Europe on Hydrogen we drove in a Ford 150 Lightning pickup truck. We have modified our truck to charge the batteries from the truck by the fuel cell during driving. This combined range of the Ford F150 Lightning longrange plus the fuelcell in combination with the 28 KG of hydrogen the trailer brings us a range of the 7 ton combination of 1.100 km without refilling. With this range we were able to cover the distances between the filling-stations and facilities during our trip to secure the zero emission rote trop. For the filling facilities we partnered up with hydrogen suppliers all over Europe to refill the tanks on our trailer with hydrogen to charge the batteries of the towing truck.

Off course the energy for living in our camper trailer was also produced by the fuel cell. So the energy for cooking, hot water and other electric home appliances for daily use were be supplied from the fuel cell.

We added solar energy panels to the roof of the trailer. The trailer camper is completely designed by BUSiness Projects BV, engineered by Girotec and build by JHWorkx. The interior and finish were done by André and Els themselves.
