Last week we were present at the H2 event ‘Decentralized Hydrogen’.

Over the past two years, Hogeschool Saxion has been working with a large consortium of companies and knowledge institutions on the development of a 70 kW electrolyzer for the RAAK-MKB project HYGENESYS. In a well-run Learning Community, together with many involved students, they went through all the steps for the mechanical, electrical and process technological detail design of the alkaline electrolyzer, in which safety and CE standards were also important points of attention. The project ended this month and the results were presented at the H2 Event “Decentralized Hydrogen” at the H2 Hub Twente in Almelo, The Netherlands.

The developments (production and consumption) around Decentralised Hydrogen was the focus of this event with a number of presentations and demonstrations/information stands. Anka Mulder (Chair of the Executive Board of Saxion) opened the event, followed by keynote lectures by Jörg Gigler (Director TKI New Gas) and Aad Bruggeman (CEO ROGER Energy).

There were also various demonstrations and information stands on Decentralised Hydrogen applications in practice.

We were also present to show our technology of the hydrogen range extender which we used during our H2Roadtrip combination. And we also shared our experiences about the use of hydrogen in Europe.
