From September 26 – 28, we presented our H2Roadtrip electric Ford F-150 Lightning truck with our tiny house on wheels, including a hydrogen range extender, at the EV Experience – Circuit Zandvoort on a very wet and rainy Circuit Zandvoort.
We shared our experiences from the European H2Roadtrip with many interested visitors at the event. We received a lot of interest in our H2Range extender solution, which we are now further developing for use in electric vans of the N1 & N2 class.
The event focused on experiencing EV driving, and we were able to offer visitors two experiences with the Ford F-150 Lightning: one on the circuit and another on an off-road trip along the rescue lane around the track. Thanks to our Ford Lightning dealer, Bos V8 Supercars, who lent us their Lightning demonstrator, we were able to conduct the experience with two F-150 Lightnings.
Most people who experienced the Lightning were surprised by the car’s capabilities, combined with its smooth drive, both off-road and on the circuit. This is exactly what we experienced on the road trip: comfort, plenty of power, easy driving, and versatility.
